Sharon D. Anderson, Principal/CEO
Sharon has hands-on management consulting experience working with nonprofit organizations, associations, and state and local
governments. She assists clients with organization assessments, advocacy, government relations, policy, strategic planning, and leadership development.
Prior to launching Anderson & Associates, LLC, Sharon worked in the office of Mayor Anthony A. Williams of Washington, DC. During her tenure, she served as the Mayor's liaison to the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives and to the governors' offices of Maryland and Virginia. Prior to joining Mayor Williams' staff, Sharon worked for the National League of Cities where she managed the policy development process and subsequently directed the training and education unit.
Sharon also has hands-on nonprofit management experience including serving as an interim executive director, membership on a board of directors, and being president of a foundation.
